sir, now presently everybody is scared of new law, pls help me and let me know shat is my position.
Now a days husband is very much scared that what will effect his life due to new divorcé amendment bill.
In this regard I like to request you please let me know the my actual position whether I am married or divorecee.
I am hindu and living in Gujarat.

My first wife expired in year 2001, from that I got two children and they are living with me.

I married in year 2002 , she was having one baby from prior husband ( name A ) , we stay together approx 1 year and later she left with her parents and later they demand money. My inlaws filed on us 498a and other charges on us in year 2004.They also demanded maintaince from us and at last we settled in the presence of elders and some amount was paid in registrar office ( we paid stamp duty also ), the reason of making DIVORECE DEED in sub registrar office because her earlier divorece also was in sub registrar office ( This we came to know when she demanded maintaince from us ), this DEED of DIVORECE between us was made in year DEC/2006.
Mean time I came to know that my wife has taken admission of her legal daughter showing new father name ( NAME C ,neither legal father , nor my name ) and still she is studing with new father name.we do not know whether she is / was married in 2004 ( after left from here ) or still she is living with new daughters father., but after that I never remarried. ( my self name B )
We were totally emotionally blackmailed by them.
Sir, I want to know what is my position.,whether my second wife is having still any right on me, whether still she is legally wife of her first husband or now she will be count that she is wife of third new name.
Please help me in this matter., whether i should now remarry, whether there will be any libilty on me of my second wife/whcih she already left in 2004 and we paid money in 2006.
pls help me.
