What if the defendants do not show up in court?

Let's say a student did not get their certificates on time because the university officials slacked off and the student's future plans get jeopardized. What will happen if the student tries to sue the government controlled university? And what will happen if the university officials fail to show up in court? (The student has receipts with dates to prove his case. And the university in question has a history of officials not showing up in court and cases against them keeping on getting rescheduled)

Hi! It will solely depend upon how strongly you present your case in the court along with evidence in support of your case, as you have alleged. If you succeed in presenting your case well in the court, the university officials will definitely be punished and penalized accordingly and accordingly, the future students will also be relieved. You may even claim compensation and be compensated by the court if the court is well convinced. God Luck!
