Wife went back to her parent's house one month after marriage taking all ornaments given as 'sthridhan' both from her side and husband's side. She did not mention anything about 'sthridhan' /ornaments in both Divorce notice by her advocate and Divorce petition in the court. Husband had filed RCR and in its counter she claimed that she had not taken back anything including ornaments. Both parties has not kept any list of 'sthridhan' /gifts as stipulated by law. So, Anything to worry about it? What will be the view of court on this issue?
