You can file a petition for divorce on the ground of mental cruelty, as far as law threatening to commit suicide is also amount to cruelty to husband so based on this ground only you can file a petition for divorce.

You can also file a police complaint against your wife for threatening to commit suicide. One who threatens to end his life and implicate someone for it, is liable to be prosecuted for putting a person in fear of a false prosecution

It's not the time to file divorce. File a NC in police station to protect you from their advancement.

	Dear Sir, My inlaws called me once and told that wife went to terris and tried to commit suicide. Then my BIL reached on terrif and saved her. Next day I asked my wife she said she tried for it. Now I realised that they were creating drame to convict me in 498a. Because there is nothing for which she should commit suicide. They have produced the call recording for this incident. Give complaint in jurisdiction police station about this matter against your wife and also the drama paltan.  That being done will create base for proving your innocence.  If you have been living apart for more than 2 months, send a notice via Advocate asking her to return to you.  Do all this immediately.  Dont delay.
