Wife notorised document saying no torture from husband

Dear Sir / Madam ,

We are staying in US and currently wife filed no-fault divorce. She has also written a letter notorised that there is no torture from husband / his family members towards her .. she is here with me in US for last 3 years...

Her relatives are insiting her to go back to India w/o taking divorce in US and they are planning to file 498a case .after wife reached India .She might be motiveted to do so by her parents ... If she has admitted once that no torture done by in-laws ..can she disagree to the statement made ..or any action can be taken before hand from my side to enforce that

If your wife is ready to give an affidavit the there was never any torture to her from your side but she only herself willing to go for divorce bcoz of xyz reason or say differance in temparament etc.. then, do take it from her. Though she may retract afterwords, but it will help you in case she files some false cases against you.
