Withdrawing a petition before it is numbered

Kindly check with the registrar of the court. they will guide you the procedure or you may require to wait till the numbering is done and thereafter you may get your matter taken on board vide putting up proper application.

You can easily withdraw.  You have tojust give reason whtever, and withdraw it, as the summons isnot yet servedtothe other party.  If the Number is assigned and then summon is served, then the other parrty may ask for cost
