in a matrimonial case,
is a witness officially allowed to access (read) the statement of the previous witnesses ?
if yes, next witness can always change his statement wrt. previous witness.

The documents in a particular case are accessible to the lawyer of either side..they can get certified copies. They are also accessible to anyone. Anyone can pay Rs 50 in the pocket of the clerk and can be arranged.
Let the subsequent witnesses..see and say whatever the first witness has said In-toto..
You have the power of cross questioning...you negate one..you negate all..your efforts will be reduced...
If you prove the first Witnesses statement as false, all the others can be booked u.s 340 CrPC for lying under oath.
Enjoy the fun..

This query is answered in the expert section.
Cross examine the material witness on the same day, by keeping other witness outside the court.
