Sir/Madam,
I have filed number of traffic offences at Surathkal (Mangalore) against people riding on the wrong side of the road, riding without helmet, etc. Ordinarily a notice is sent by the traffic police to the person, who committed the offence. If they do not pay up in 15 days, a case is registered in the Court. Now, I will be transferred to Pune. If I am called as a witness:
1. Is it compulsory for me to attend a Court in Surathkal (Mangalore) from Pune?
2. I am told that during cross examination, we have to answer only in "YES" or "NO". If I do not know the answer or I do not remember, what should I do?
