Wrong survey no for a 40 year old document

Sir My father bought agriculture land in 1981. The survey no mentioned in the documents does not match with the survey no in fmb details. we are in possession of the property till date. Pass book also mentioned the survey no of sale deed. The seller has passed away . My father is in process of selling the property this was identified.kindly suggest me what needs to be done and alternatives.
