hello,
i bought a plot in chennai in 2006. the survey of that property had changed, but we werent aware of that. we used the survey number from the previous docuemts. the person who sold.it to me has passed away. i have not applied for patta, but i need to get as i am going to sell the plot. how do i handle this?

Matter is over. The Seller has died, and therefore, the rectification deed cannot be executed. Now file a suit for rectification of survey number. Civil Suit is a remedy available to you.
