1. A Delhi court has issued an extradition warrant, against an elusive key aide of Abdul Karim Telgi for his arrest in a multi-crore fake stamp paper case here, to the CBI. Additional Sessions Judge Dinesh Dayal issued the warrant after the probe agency sought extradition of Ajay Grover, arrested last month in Abu Dhabi on a Red Corner notice issued by the Interpol.
2. Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf today said he will accept the Supreme Court's decision on former Premier Nawaz Sharif's petition seeking an end to his exile.
3. A 32-year-old man from Punjab has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a British court on charges of battering his flatmate to death with a ΓÇÿKara', a metal bracelet. The Old Bailey here found Merjit Bains, an illegal immigrant, guilty of murdering Ragbir Singh Chahal, 31, in March, last year and he must serve a minimum of 12 years in prison.
