BCI imposed Age bar for Law Admissions

BCI had imposed age bar for law admissions No one above 20 yrs of age is eligible for BA.LLB and above 22yrs of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/Handicap

And no one above age of 30 yrs for 3yrs LLB degree admissions. There are many PIL have been filed in various court opposing this new rule, also colleges and universities, lawyers, retd.judges, student unions also opposing this rules.

But the real question is how will be the admissions for the acedemic year 2009-10. Will the colleges/Universities continue with BCI rule or they will give admissions to students of over age with benefit of case have been filed in court.

when a rule has been made enforceable, it is to be complied unless stayed or quashed by constitutional court.

There is no age bar for those who obtained law degree and go for other profession or jobs and come back home to legal profession after a gap of 30 or 40 years. And now we are imposing age bar to get law degree with cut off year. Is it reasonable?
