Cancellation of Agreement

Hi,

I had purchased the land.

In agreement it is worth showing amount og 6lac and i had paid the 81000rs as token amount at the time of agreement which is mentioned and signed by both parties. Agreement is not registered. After that i had failed to make further payments. In the meanwhile the person has sold the same land to other person. Please advice how can i pressurise the person to return my 81000rs back. Any legal notice and action can be filed against him?

He is not staying in city , i am not been able to catch him in the city for discussion. I dont even have his details.

Can i put a stay on the land by court ?

hi..

Is there any time limit specified in your agreement for payment? What are the other conditions in your agreement related to payment or if not paid within time .... plz confirm

U can make a public notice claiming your right & restraining other peoples as there is no cancellation of agreement & also u r not party to that other executed document.

Yes, It all depend upon the contents of the agreement.

Its validity (Period), other terms and conditions in the event of failure by the buyer.

So, to opine correctly, full details about the agreement is needed.
