Complusary Census duty

My wife is a teacher in a Private school in Gurgaon . She is forced by authorities to perform census duty as an enumerator just because she agreed to it in June when the Government teachers did not agree on the same . A letter has been issued to her asking to attend the required training else FIR would be issued against her

There are lot of security concerns around the census duty and as per my understanding , is going against the fundamental rights .

Please advise if there is any law to help

The public servants;

who gets guarantteed salary from the nation including all facilities viz. dearness allowance which increases in every six months, house rent allowance, city allowance, medical facilities, education facilities to their children, bonus without assurance to work, pension till life and huge retirement benefits vice versa no reliabilities to have an office at their own like other shopkeepers/citizens have to maintain,

are bonded to fulfill their national responsibilities when the nation need them including posting at war front posts.  Census duty, election duty, emergency duty due to natural calamity etc. are their first duty for which they can be called at any time without any prior notice.

Those public servants, who refuse to perform their national duties, are liable to have imprisonment beside their property, which they earned from public/national money, can be seize.

It is simple provision in constitution.

The only way out is RESIGNATION which is also subjected to consideration after performing immediate responsibility assigned by the nation and so this time no excuse will be accepted but after that the resignation will be accepted and you will have no burden  of such duties since being out of public service. Choice is yours but after this recent falling census work on account of enjoyed public service.
