Creating legal will for multiple state property

Hi,

My mother has 3 property in Delhi, UP and Karnataka. She want to create a will but would like to know the correct procedure.

1. Is registration preferred for will, or can unregistered will signed by 2 witnesses hold its ground.

2. Can we get the will made in any state or we need to make the will made in all three state for the respective property in that state.

3. Can a video recording of her wishes be sufficient and considered as a will?

1. It is not mandatory to get the Will executed by a registered document, it can be an unregistered instrument also.

2.The Will can be prepared by the testator in the polace where he or she is currently residing.

3. No, the videograph of a statement cannot be considered as a Will.

Yes. 1. Will registration is optional and even unregistered will is also valid. 2.  The will shall be executed by the Testator with two witnesses and a scribe of the will.  3. No. Videography for a Will cannot be considered.

( 1 ) Will requires no registration and stamp duty and even can be executed on plane paper.

( 2 ) will can be executed at the plcae where testator resides.

( 3 ) Videograph of statement  can not be  considered as will.
