Delay in recruitment process- Request for advice.

Sir, I Rayapudi Nagarjuna have selected for the post of Junior Accounts Officer
in Andhra pradesh Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (APGENCO) during 2018.

APGENCO has given notification for the recruitment of 25 Junior Accounts Officers in November, 2017 and conducted written exam during, February, 2018 and declared results during May, 2018 and conducted the documents verification on 11.07.2018. At the time of documents verification, we the selected candidates have submitted all our original documents in supporting to the qualification, experience, reservation etc.

Since, it is 9 months we deposit our original documents and till now we have not received appointment letters. We have contacted the APGENCO management, several times and every time they are saying that it is process and still now we have not got our appointment orders.

After issue of notification, they have issued addendum giving weightage to the candidates with experience in APGENCO and accordingly merit list was drawn and everything was complete.

But, they are not issuing the appointment orders. It seems that they are intentionally delaying issue of appointment orders.

In view of the above, can u pleas suggest me sir, the best possible way to get appointment orders as early as possible.

Thanking you sir,

Rayapudi Nagarjuna.

It is a delicate matter. If you move legally, it would look like you are giving Lawyer's notice to your Employer even before you joined the job.  Better, get one of your relatives, whose name cannot be traced to you, file a RTI query on the matter to inform the present position regarding the appointment. They are bound to give the present position.

My sincere advice is not to stop your job hunt just because you were selected.  Please do continue as if you did not get this job. It is to be on safe side.

Thank you sir for your kind reply.

Some of the selected candidates have already asked the status through the RTI, But they have replied that it is under process. More than that, some of the selected candidates are already working on contract basis in Head Office of the APGENCO and they are continuously knowing the status. After all sort of possible ways we came to know that they are intentionally delaying the issue of appointment orders. Hence, we are worrying how much time it takes?. It is already 1 1/2 year since date of notification. Hence we are asking for some easy possible method to build up pressure on APGENCO ro issue appointment orders as early as possible.

Only alternative is to file case in Court calling upon the ict department to send appointment letters. Better 3-4 people together mice the court.

There is no govt. for signing the appointment letters. Wait till the govt. formation and follow up.
