Demolition

An order was passed by City Civil Court in he year 1999 for demolition of a property in my building and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation was directed to do so.We did file a revision order but that too was dismissed by the court.Somehow the KMC did not carry out the demolition and now after 12 years of passing of the order the KMC wants to demolish the said property. My query is whether or not can this order be barred from limitation.if so how..plz help..THANK YOU

They can still demolish the property for the simple reason that this order is self executable and they don't need to approach a civil court for the same. Furthermore time limit for execution for government is 30 years in place of 12 yeras for execution.
