Document Registration

Hello,

My mother purchased a small peace of land in 1997 through all her lifetime savings. The documents that she has are:

  1. Power of attorney
  2. Agreement to sale

Agreement to sale has signature of seller and a witness on a 100 Rs stamp paper, however it is not registered.

We are following up with the seller to execute the Sale Deed, however he isnt coming forward to do so.

Can she still register these documents ? What shall be the way ahead to make the case stand and make the documents strong ?

Every suggestion shall be of a great help !!

Thanks,

Vishal

what is the time limit  mentioned in the sale agreement?

It doesnt have a time limit, it says whenever it shall be intimated we need to get this executed. However we never received any info on this ever, and he claims that they had been following up over this.

I got to know that their is a way to register the documents at a letr stage as well by paying the registration fees and some fine. Please guide over this,

firstly --the date of execution of sale agreement is not given.

secondly --The power of attorney deed.  On which date it has been executed.  Whether it is registered. Who is the executor and what are the conditions in the GPA.????

Mr. vishal,

please make the question correctly.  answer the folliwngs;

what is date  and tenure of sale agreement......

who executed a power of attorney?   for what?

whether you have paid entire consideration (value) ?
