Error in e stamp paper title

We got e - Non Judicial E Stamp Papers and by mistake my lawyer has made spelling mistakes in Surname. The Surname printed, while issuing the Stamp Paper is Josh instead of Correct Surname Jose.

Later while typing the Sale Deed, Surname printed in text of Sale Dead as well as in Revenue Record is correct, that is, Jose.

Request experts to advise followings:

1. Whether the correction is possible and how.

2. Whether this error is acceptable, if correction is not possible

Have you approached the stamp vendor? What is his opinion?

I approached the Lawyer engaged by the Real Estate Dealer, who had purchased the E Stamp Paper on line. He explained that his steno made a mistake while purchasing the Stamp Papers on line. He said he is sorry for his mistake and I should not worry about this mistake, this shall not effect the Sales/ Conveyence Deed. He further expressed that this can not be corrected. He also told that had there been a mistake in text of the deed, he would have got corrected in the Estate Office, but this error happened on line while bying the stamp paper and can not be corrected.

Regards

Ramesh
