Father property inheritance. How?

Hi All,

My father who is ill now and bedridden have a independent house and a seperate plot in his name (even though my mom and i have financed, but no proof regarding this!) and another house which is in my moms name. The house in my mom name is LIC financed by both my mom and dad.

As my father is very fond of his younger sister (who is still unmarried, legally!) can he make a will such that all property in his name be given to his sister, that is a plot and an independent ? Then do my mom and us (two sons ) doesn't  have any rights on the properties that he has?

Please share your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ramki

Self acquired properties may be disposed by the transferor unless they are encumbered by charges like mortgages, maintenance charges and the like.  In the absence of such impediments self acquired property may be disposed through Will and I am afraid you dont stand a chance there.
