Hi all,
I am writing a post on insurance firms ratings (will post it under posts when ready). Needed help from the folks here: do you guys have any opinion (positive or negative) in dealing with insurance companies like Reliance General , HDFC Ergo, Oritental, ICICI Lombard etc?
It will be great to have feedback on the lines of (1) paying claims on time (2) amount paid - not forcing a settlement at a reduced amount, how easy it is to process claim etc...

Dear Kumar,
I have heard that ICICI lombard is now not doing insurance of Commercial Vehicles, they have droped that portfolio, therefore in Private now a days TATA AIG and HDFC Argo is very Agresive in the market, in terms of OD Discounts and all.
Relaince has lost its market because of poor claim Settlement.
