How to get money back with interest from builder

I booked one flat in under construction property (G + 7) in August 2019 and still waiting for possession.

In Maharera projects extended period will be over on March 2024.

What action i need to take to get back my money as I know possession is not possible because ilegal construction of 2 floors by builder. And now it's G+9

You cancel the booking and send a communication in writing intimating your decision to the builder with the reason you rely upon and then demand return of your booking amount. 

You can resort to legal action if the builder is not responding nor complying with the demands made.

Keep a watch / record of activities  and progress of the project till time provided in the agreement for purchase of flat.

If the builder fails to deliver possession within agreed limitation, move to jurisdictional RERA and/or Consumer Commission with relevant documents.

It is better to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for proper analyses of the facts / documents, professional advise and necessary proceeding against the builder.
