How to get notarized doc verified?

Opposite party has a notarized document with no witness signature but notary has put a seal "Signed before me". How can we verify that the person who made affidavit actually went to the notary office that day? That person is dead and it could well be that his signature was forged and notarized was bribed to put that seal since there are no witness signatures.

If you have proof that on the day of attestation of document the person was dead, you can file FIR for forgery and file complaint before the Registrar Vigilance of concerned High Court, the person/beneficiary  who presents the document will be filed and the Notary License of Notarizing [person will be revoked.

If the document has been presented in court then you should call the Notary and the person who submitted as witness

That person was alive on the date of affidavit and notarization. He died two months later.

If that person was alive that day, then it can be presumed that he only signed before notary. Unless and until you have evidence to prove contrary to the acts you will not be able to fight it legally.
