My Dad and myself has recently booked a property which is under construction. Its a joint property where my Dad is the first holder and I am the second holder. We are funding this property from our own savings and had not taken any loan. I am married but my relation with my wife is not on good terms. Very soon she will be divorcing me. As a matter of fact, I want to safeguard my property rights and dont want to give any benefit to wife. Kindly suggest that in what ways this issue can be solved as I dont have any legal knowledge.
