Dear sir,
I had already obtained an NC-OBC certificate from Tamil Nadu in January 2014 as I belong to Senai-Thalaivar which belongs to OBC category.We have been residing in Mumbai for the past 21 years and hence my father has a ration card belonging to Mumbai.
Due to the admission process, I needed to renew the OBC certificate. On contacting the Tehsildar's office, they aren't providing the renewed certificate citing my father doesn't has a Ration Card belonging to Tamil Nadu.
Is this the correct explanation? Is ration card mandatory for obtaining NC-OBC certificate.If not, then what other documents can be submitted in place of ration card?
This is really urgent so your prompt reply would be deeply appreciated.
