Legal Heir Registration

You can approach the jurisdictional revenue department/Tehsildar with an application signed by all the legal heirs and comply with further procedural aspects to obtain legal heirship certificate.

You can submit an application fto the Tahsildar concerned or legal heir certificate of your father along with a copy of his death certificate.  If any problem, you can contact the SDO of your division.

You have to apply to the court and get succession certificate in the name of the legal heirs under the Succession Act. There is a procedure for that. You contact a lawyer who specialises in succession matters.
