Letter of administration/succession certificate

hello

i have shares of a company in the name of my husband who had died some years ago..now i want to convert that shares in name of mine...so company requires either letter of administration or succession certificate...

what is the procedure of prepartion of these documents or how much apx fees will be taken by an advocate

you need to apply for succession certificate, ifyour husband had not done nomination of his shares withthe depository incase of demate shares.

 

As per procedure it takes 6 months for getting the certificate. but generally it may take bit longer time. as far as fees is concerned it needs to be discussed personally.

you have to obtain succession certificate from civil court.Fee differs from Advocate to Advocate.

succession certificate can be obtained only for these shares or jointly for other properties also..??

succession certificate is issued for all the property of deceased person .movable or immovable.

You succesion certificate from civil court for all the properties of your husband. If there are children, you can transfer sucession to children.
