In Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu there is one educational institution called American University of India (AUI) is getting students from India and sending to Bicol Christian College of Medicine (Ago Medical Education Center) (BCCM) at Philippines. In the past year, only 3 students were sent successfully due to various reasons AUI stated but it continued marketing in the following year. As parents of the students and facilities at AUI are concerned about the reasons as AUI put blame on students or Ago Medical center at Philippines. Now it raised a lot integrity question about AUI as it never refunded the money to students who were not sent to Philipines as promised by AUI so lost money. Questions are:
1.Should these two institutions AUI in India and BCCM at Philipines have MOU?
2.To have this MOU signed should AUI need any approval from Indian government and should the MOU be registered in India. Any legal requirements regarding MOU to ensure if the tie-up with MCCM is real.
3.How to protect further students join to save them from any loss to their family? How to bring justice?
4.The mails written directly to MCCM enquiring any problem faced by students are not responded so the we doubt about MCCM too. How to proceed legally in this situation?
