Notice period

Hi,

I joined a company and served for 40days and after that I resigned as I was not happy with the way they were treating the professionals . I resigned stating that relieve me after 7 days (as per my offer letter during the probation ,my notice period is 45 days ) was but after giving notice nobody really discussed about the same much hence I decided to leave. After a week i received mail from my manager stating they want to talk about the resignation followed by letter and then by another letter. In this case what can be done . What should i do as per my offer letter it has been mentioned that in case i leave the company without giving notice or completing the notice period, company has right to recover salary in lieu of notice period or treat as absconded and proceed accordingly.

Please adivse what should be the next step.

Dear Antonio,

As  (as per my offer letter during the probation ,my notice period is 45 days) offer letter you have accepted the terms which clearly says that you have to serve 45 days as notice period. You can also pay 45 days notice period amount though it is not mentioned.
