Orginal document submission as evidence

If we have to request court to send "signature difference" to expert opinion on any documents submitted as Evidence, all documents required for signature comparision are to be in original.

If any document are not submitted as original but only Certified Photo copy is submitted in Evidence,

1. Is there option to Plaintiff where he can ask Defendant to submit the original of the same ?

2. As defendant has this document in original, does he reject the request ?

If original  documents are in existence  and in power and possession of  defendant then neither certified copies can be tendered in evidence nor such copies can be used for comparison  of signatures.

Plaintiff can raise objections that signatures can't be compared with certified photo copies..

Plaintiff can raise an objection to this and can insist on prouction of the original documents
