Own lawyer is threatening .......

Dear respected sirs,

I am looking for kind guidance on an urgent matter.

Authority papers (vakalatnama) signed (given) in blank to an advocate in good faith to act in advance in situation of a possible false 498a case. A few months has been passed, till now no FIR, but now opposite party in touch with this same advocate and this advocate has changed his behavior, indirectly threatening the client to compromise & accept the demands of opposite party. What precaution & steps to be taken urgent to take back the signed authority papers (valakatnama) from advocate, in case not returned back by him, what immediate action can be taken to stop any possible abuse of these authority papers? Immediate False criminal case is suspected against client & whole family.

Kindly guide.

Serve the advocate with notce to return the signed vakalatnama  and forbidding him  to use the   vakalatnama  for any purpose  whatso ever. .

First convince him not to do like that, if he continued to do the same thing then write a complaint to the state bar council.
