Registration of trust

Sir, we would like to start a Trust by donating a land which under the possessin of one of us and he will be Settor of the Trust.  With a good motto to construct a mosque to provide the spiritual place to the muslims residing nearby the proposed land and as well as to do social and charitable services to all the people irrespective of caste and creed trough that Trust.  In this connection, I would like to know the procedure to register a Trust (which is better - Private / Public) and would like to know under which Act this Trust registration comes.  Also request you to suggest the points to be mentioned in the trust deed so that the Trust can't be go in the hands of wrong people in future and shall continue its proposed sacred activities by running the Trust under the Founder Trustees by putting the whole and sole power to the Managing Trustee (Settlor) and after him it should goes to his legal heir.  It would be more helpful if you can provide a sample trust deed in this regard.  You have also requested to tell by keeping in view the above points, that which Trust is better Religious Trust or Charitable Trust as well as Private or Public? Construction of Mosque on the land going to donate is compulsory and followed by charity activities which shall be covered under 80G exeption.  Thanq.

Indian Trust Act, 1882 governs private or family trusts although various states have also enacted their own trust acts. The main instrument of declaring a trust is the Trust Deed, which should be made on non-judicial stamp papers pf, prescribed fee and signed by the trustee or trustees for submission to the Registrar concerned.
