Schizophrenia case of wife, in-laws running away after the documents are found

Are the parents responsible to give clarification on the schizophrenia of her daughter to son-in-law on why this was hidden and when asked for clarification over writing, in-laws are threatening to divert it as a blackmail for extra property?

How far parents are responsible to disclose her daughter's mental issues and to co-operate for disclosing the pre-marriage hospitalization details? Girl accepted and already put it on affidavit saying here parents are fully aware of it.

Can a criminal case be booked on this ?

This cannot be considered as a suppression of fact material for marriage.

However this can be pleaded as one among the grounds for divorce on the grounds of cruelty.

If her parents refuse to divulge with the treatment particulars then they cannot be forced to furnish it before court.

It becomes the duty of person making this allegation to prove his allegations.
