Usage of Video Conference for Second Motion

Hi,

My self and my wife filed for a divorcee under mutual consent in the month of Apr. 2010. Now she is in US and will not coming for another few months. Is it possible to have the second motion through Video conference and is it considered valid. This case is in Delhi Courts.

Yes.. Video Conferencing is Valid. A similar case happened 2 years ago in Chennai where the second motion in Mutual Consent of Divorce happened through Video Conferencing and Divorce was granted to the couple.

Since you are saying the case is in Delhi Courts, You can request the Judge to arrange Video Conferecing for the second motion.

Can anybody help us with case numbers and other details in which video conferencing has been used.

It would be of great help.
