Hello Sir / Madam,
We have 3 acres of land in Sholapur on my Father`s name Land is Non NA.
Pune`s reputed Builder gave us good deal of joint venture on this land.
3 months back, this builder gave my Father 2 lakhs Rs. as Visara Pawati (Token Money receipt), and my Father signed on it.
We do not have any legal agreement with him till now neither my father has signed on any other legal documents till now.
After few days, due to ongoing N/A issue of the land he decline to do the said agreement with us and refuse to go ahead and asked to gave back his 2 lakhs Rs.
Till this time everything was going in mutual understanding.
At the time of returning back his money, he denied to take it back and said he want to do the agreement with us, but that time we denied because of his bad attitude.
He gave us 1 week to think over on the proposal, but on 4th Day itself we got the legal notice from him. Which indicate cheating.
On the basis of Visara Pawati he is forcing us to do the agreement with him only.
Please give us solution on this.
Pleas suggest me what shall we do in this case?
