Alimony

Hi, I'm an NRI and working in US. My wife she lives in Delhi and working with a IT company and earning 7 lakhs per annum. She is Master degree also. She is refusing to come to US and her father is asking an alimony of 25 lakh and her shridhan i.e there Car and jewellary. We have been married for 5 years.Please advice what should I do ? should I fight the case or give her the 25 lakhs to get an easy divorce ? I'm just calculating, if they put any wrong case against me I would eventually end of losing 5 - 7 lakhs just to fighting that case from abroad on lawyers, court and my travel ...Pls advise..thanks

Pay her, get back your peace and freedom.If she files case you will loose your time too with money.

Opinion: It seems that money is more imprtant for you and not wife, as per your calculation you losing 5-7 lakhs and what about time, may be some serious allegation can be framed against you then??????????

so settle the matter amicable and negotiate the money factor outside the court and live in peace.
