My Grand father had agriculture lands, Ancestral Home in a village in Tamil Nadu. After he passed away the property passed on to his wife and children ( 1son and 4 daughter). The son is repeatedly threatening that he is the sole owner of the property and others do not have any right over it. He also sold few lands by forgery. Now we want the remaining agriculture lands to changed to residential property.
Can anyone explain what is the procedure for it ? The son also threatens to police action in case the daughters clear the land for legally surveying the land available.
Please help with explanation if any legal action that can be taken and if surveying of lands can be done by other heirs ?
