Animal or pet rules

Respctedd sirs,

We are a resident association comprising of 500 flats , in 13 acres of land , with parks etc. in Bangalore. Recently a few residents who feed regularly cats  in the open brought some issues. The cats make much nuisance, speeds poops, etc. They have influenced some officials in the local municipality / govt - who issued few directives  to our association in a threatening tone . The animal husbandry Directorcontantly issues threat , forces us to form a committee for the welfare of cats etc, forces the residents to buy stands for keeping the milk safe.  Sir what is the authority of the Animal husbandry director to impose fine  etc on us . Our children get sickness in playing in garden polluted by cats. Pl suggest what should wee do ?

Having pets at home is a fundamental freedom guaranteed to the citizens of India as per the constitution. keeping pets in apartment & residents owners of the pets not violating any municipal law are permissible to stay in the housing society.

Respected sir ,

Absolutely no issue as long as they keep the pets in their home . Our issue is , many residents feed cats in an open space, . These cats poops all over the area , in lawns , over the water tanks , endangering the health . In the absence of clear laws , what shall the residents do. The cats even spoil the milk in front of the door of the flats . What shall the residents do .is the problem & question sir

Regards

Resident

The association has to frame guidelines in this regard and can impose penalty to the persons not adhering to the same or violating the conditional guidelines in this regard.
