we have order some ac units and the delivery of the same is due in march 2015 . the vendor (not an oem) has now asked for amending the order for increase in exise duty by 2.06 % which has come to effect from 1/1/2015 facts are as under
1) our order is placed on rates quoted by party which is inclusive of exise duty and offer was silent regarding % exise duty included or amount of exise duty included for each item quoted.
2)order includes various other items viz condenser pipes,cables ,instalation charges etc
now my question is how to resove this issue such that we follow the due procedure and vendor is not affected or put to loss
