Consumer forum related

This is regarding a case in a District Consumer Forum. The Respondent, after taking many adjournments had submitted his version as well as Affidavit (Evidence). Though he requested for many adjournments, he did not submit his argument and did not argue also.. The case was posted for orders on say, date 1. Subsequently the forum kept adjourning it for three mare dates at one month interval , each time. After doing that , the case was posted for Argument again. In that hearing , the Forum kept granting Pass over to the respondent till he submitted the Written Argument. The Composition of the Forum was same from the beginning till date. QUESTION : Is this action of the Forum in order ? Under waht circumstances, the Forum can list it for Arguments again? Posted by M N Sridhara

mostly all depends on your case and complexity in it.

To be prudent it requires min. 3 to 4 months for final order after duly following all the procedure without any adjournment.
