May I know what does the term Double Jeopardy mean! Does lodging of two different complaints under two different laws with same facts amount to doble jeopardy! Is Quashing u/s.482 a remedy?Kindly advise

Read article 20 of Constitution with section 300 Cr.P.C.
But you case does not come in ambit of double jeopardi

Dear Ravikant,
I went through art20(2) and sec.300CrPC as also some of the Supreme Court Verdicts. As per one of the Suprme court verdicts my case does fall within the ambit of DOUBLE JEOPARDY!
