what exactly do you mean by drugs. Drugs is defined under Drugs and cosmetics Act, 1940 and rules. Under Drugs and cosmeticsaACt. simplicitor possession of drugs are not offeses.
if you meant narcotics under NDPS ACt, it forms material evidence ans is part and parcel of the charge sheet.
