Electricity bill payment by tenant without electricity meter

The flat rented out to a tenant haven't received an electricity meter yet. So the electricity bill is not being generated. However, can owner ask for electricity bill amount from tenant to ensure to cover himself for the average bill that may received by him once meter is received?

How much amount can be asked from tenant against electricity usage? How to calculate that?

No legal issues are involved in the query.  How did other flat owners agree to give electricity without an electricity meter?

This is a question related to practical issues.

How can you expect a third person or any legal expert/lawyer of this forum to predict answer to your question which is not pertaining to any legal issue

Since this is a legal forum seeking legal implications of asking electricity bill payment from tenant without electricity meter.

Respected Lawyers/Experts,

First of all without a Electricity meter to the tenant, how electiricity connection is provided by the owner and usage of electiricity by the tenant is against the laws. Whether this point was included in the rent agreement.

 Thanks,

Yours faithfully,

When electricity meter is not installed in the demised premises, where is the question of generating an electricity bill ?

When there is no electricity connection how can owner ask for electricity bill amount from tenant to ensure to cover himself for the bill to be generated which you may receive after installation of electricity meter ?

How can you expect calculation of amount to be asked from tenant by legal experts on this platform ?

This post is not only time pass post and an abuse this platform but also a cruel joke on the experts, which should have been filtered by Admin.

Dear Sir,

With due respect, I would like to repeat, there is a connection, but no meter. I never mentioned about anyone demised. Please read the question carefully. Also, I think you are making it too complicated and an unnecessary escalation to admin. Simply the answer could have been this is not something anyone one can guess or whatever or you could have chosen to not answer. You are not bound to answer my question at all, if you think it is inappropriate. And this is definitely not an abuse or a cruel joke on someone or a timepass as you think.

Thank you anyways.

If electricity is being supplied without a meter, how can the power supplier charge without metering the same?

Thank you anyways.

I may clarify regarding your observation qua, "demised premises" is meant for "rented property".

I have replied only and only after going through facts of the post.

If you dislike response and obligation of experts on this platform, you may seek opinion and advise of a professional.
