False affidavit

Dear Experts,

My Brothers had a marital dispute with her wife and she had filed a 498a criminal case against him and other family members. Her father submit statement to police u/s 161 crpc that he had taken a loan of Rs. 10lac from his Sister's son who sold his agriculture land and given cash to him to perform marriage arrangement..  This person submit a false affidavit that he had given load to his maternal uncle after sold his agriculture land but we had done investigation and found that this land not sold and still in the name of this person. Now challan is filed by police and this affidavit also submitted in the MM court and charges yet to be framed.

My query is what action or counter cases we can file and what is punishment for submit false affidavit.

Pls revert at earliest.

check properly. if he has 2 piece of land and he sold other one?

if your investigation is perfect, and belive it,

 the file perjury u/s crpc 340, r/w 191 to 211

Filling false Affidavit is an offence affecting ther administration of Justice and is punishable, as pointed out by Rahul.

D/Rahul Sir/ Assumi sir thx for the revert. Just add to rahul sir point that we have verified the current ownership of property with help of tahsildaar office and found that still the current of property is same. Just to confirn tat this partclr transction attract ipc 420.

collect the the evidence those prove his false evidence & filed complaint u/s 195 cr.pc.
