filing cases against police personal when they have fired in mob to protect themselves how far it is

in the rescent developments some of the political organisations are insisting the government to book cases against the police under section 302 of IPC for involving themselves in firing to protect themselves .how far it is justifiable. the dharnas are being taken up agisnt the call of the political parties and also damaging thepublic properties is the political parties are not responsible for the happenings

[color=green]Dear Venkkat, I think you were mistaken. The cases against these police officials are booked not because they have killed someone in firing as self-protection. It is because these policemen have engaged themselves in fake encounters and have killed innocent men alleging them to be terrorists just for the sake of promotions and monetary benefits.[/color]
