Gratuity Amendment 2010 made enhancement of Gratuity payment and exemption in IT up to 10 Lacs. This is made effective from 24-05-2010. There were representations made to make it effective from 01-01-2006as per 6th pay commission. Is there any progress in the matter? I retired from Guj State Fertilizers and chemicals Limited on 30th April 2009. I could not get exemption up to 10 lacs. If there is any progress?
