Hma

PLEASE GO THRU THE HMA 1955, SEC 24 REG MAINTENANCE WHERE IT CLEARLY STATES THAT IT IS THE MORAL OBLIGATORY OF THE  HUSBAND OR WIFE TO MAINTAIN HIS /HER  WIFE / HUSBAND..........

NOWHERE IT STATES THAT IT IS ONLY THE DUTY OF HUSBAND TO MAINTAIN HIS WIFE AND WIFE HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY / DUTY TOWARDS HER HUSBAND OR TO MAINTAIN HER HUSBAND.

Interesting point , very applicable for me, as I am not working for last 3 yrs, and wife is working, still she is asking for heavy maintenance from me, in dv case.... Can I use hma reference to argue against maintenance in dv case??
