In India, the copyright protection for original literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works is generally for the author's lifetime plus 60 years after the author's death.

This ensures that the creator's work is protected and that their heirs or assigned rights holders continue to benefit from it for a significant period

However, if a work is published anonymously or pseudonymously, the copyright lasts for 60 years from the beginning of the calendar year that follows the year of publication.

If the author's identity is revealed before the copyright expires, the copyright lasts for 60 years from the beginning of the calendar year that follows the year of the author's death

In India, copyright for original works such as books lasts for the author's lifetime plus 60 years after their death. If the work is published anonymously or under a pseudonym, the copyright lasts for 60 years from the year following its publication. If the author's identity becomes known before the expiration, the copyright is then extended to 60 years after the author's death. Different countries have varying durations for copyright protection, ranging between 50 to 100 years. book promotion services for authors
