For addition of directors following documents will be required.

  • Self-attested copy of PAN
  • Self-attested copy of identity and address proof such as passport or Aadhar card or Election card
  • Consent to act as director in format of DIR-2
  • Copy of resolution passed by the shareholders
  • Notice for shareholders meeting

The director can be added with the shareholders’ approval only. Hence, after passing the resolution the company must file the form for appointment of director to the MCA within 30 days.
