How to get personal information on job

I wanted to know whether any person (X) can get infomation about the previous job of another person (Y) without Y's consent? Is RTI applicable here?

I understand that,with court summon, they can get the information. But without Court summons or under RTI, is it feasible to get the personal information of Y without his/her knowledge? Is it not crime?

Experts please advice.

Unless the person comes within the definition of public servant,the history of his jobs cannot be obtained through RTI Act 2005.

On the matter of punishment,i would like to say,it depends upon the nature of secracy.Though Civil damage suit can be filed generally,but in certain cases,it may attract provisions of criminal laws.

Personal information of a person are not provided thru RTI. If we know some particulars of the person the same can accessed thru some known persons working in the organization but these cannot be used in court cases. In case the particulars are needed we need to approach some private detective agencies and they can be helpful.

You are supposed to approach the Court of Law with clean hands. It is always better to be honest. If you suppress any material informatiion from the Court with intention of frauf, u r likely to be thrown out at any stage of proceedings. The other party can always make an appln for prodn of docum/information or issue of witness summons. The infofrmation then is easily available....
